Villa Maria is surrounded by stunning terraced gardens where every morning the farmers harvest organic products (fertilized with humus from goats and sheep raised in the nearby mountains) that can be enjoyed at the restaurant. The cuisine exclusively uses products from its organic garden.

Guests can walk through the gardens and visit the cave with a rock chapel which can be admired at the furthest end of the garden, where, in the past, farmers would stop to pray during work breaks.
